Looking for a studio in Berlin I was fortunate to meet a historic community of artists of the Berliner underground.

They were living in an "abandoned" building in a harmonious, creative and productive coexistence. Open-minded, sensitive, organized and lively people, they opened their doors although they hardly even knew me.

In July 2009, as a result of the progressive land speculation, this house of artists had to close forever.
This series is a memory of that generation of artists.
